Currently available positions


ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN – The Electronics Technician will support all activities outlined by the Product Engineer to accomplish the success of the electronics operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in written delivery of clear, accurate, and concise specifications, reports, and procedures as directed by Product Engineer
  • Assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
  • Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
  • Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modifies development and production of electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems
  • Provide technical support to the quality inspection process
  • Analyze, interpret, and document all data collection
  • Perform all operations necessary for the testing of the product
  • Work with Engineering on the testing of new development products and existing products
  • May instruct and guide other technical personnel
  • Performs other duties as required by the Product Engineer and/or VP of Operations

Education/Training:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent in technical experience
  • Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpretation of technical drawings, datasheets, schematics, and written work instructions
  • Ability to operate Oscilloscope, Curve Tracer, power supply, and DMM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage concurrent priorities, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented

QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN – This position will support all Quality Assurance tasks and programs to accomplish the success of the total Quality Management system as outlined by the Director of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in written delivery of clear, accurate, and concise specifications, reports, and procedures
  • Coordinate testing and evaluation of Solitron Devices products to military specifications
  • Track and assist with AS9100/ISO9001 and MIL-PRF-19500/38534 internal audits
  • Provide technical support to the quality inspection process
  • Review testing and evaluation of paperwork and evaluation lots, etc.
  • Coach, lead, train and develop team members
  • Performs other duties as required by the Director of Quality Assurance

Education/Training:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent in experience
  • Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
  • SPC experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage concurrent priorities, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and problem solver
