Solitron is a MIL-PRF-38534
(Class H) and MIL-PRF-38535 (Class M) Certified and Qualified
hybrid circuit manufacturing facility. Our discrete and
hybrid devices are manufactured to withstand the environmental
screening requirements for MIL-PRF-19500,
MIL-PRF-38534 (Class H) and MIL-PRF-38535 (Class M), or
to a customer supplied Source Control Drawing/Specification
Control Drawing including space level processing. Therefore,
COTS of all of our products are also available. We also
manufacture more than 1500 standard semiconductor types
including: Power Transistors, Darlington transistors, IGBTs,
Junction FETs, power MOSFETs, Power Diodes/Rectifiers, Voltage
Regulators (SMD and Custom), DC to DC Converters, Motor
Drivers & Controllers (Military, Industrial/Commercial),
Power Factor Correction Modules and Rad-Hard components
for various satellite and space exploration programs.
Solitron is at the forefront of semiconductor
packaging and device thermal management. Over the years,
we have designed and manufactured more than 400 different
package styles including the popular TO-254, TO-257,
TO-258, TO-259, TO-267, and miscellaneous Interlock
Packages ("Z" Packs), plus an extremely wide selection
of power hybrid packages. Many of these packages are
machined from solid OFHC copper or Glidcop copper and
are constructed with Rugged Ceramic Feed-Throughs (Eyelets).
Solitron pioneered the combining of
small signal circuitry with power semiconductors to create
power hybrids for high-end industrial and military/aerospace
and space applications. Our unique capability as a vertically
integrated semiconductor manufacturer providing its own
in-house fabrication of semiconductor die, printed substrates
and packages is a major cost and time saving benefit for
our customers. Solitron was one of the first companies to
integrate power MOSFETs and IGBTs into power hybrids, and
has the capability to incorporate Rad-Hard, Single Event
Gate Rupture (SEGR) resistant power MOSFETs into its products.
